Resources for Schools
A Resource for your PTA from the National Parents Teacher Association and Allergy Home! AllergyHome is proud to collaborate with the National PTA to help schools implement The Voluntary Guidelines for Managing Food Allergies in Schools and Early Care and Education Programs. These voluntary guidelines help schools create and implement working school policies. Experts, agencies and organizations experienced in food allergy management and anaphylaxis in schools contributed to this guidance document.

Epi Help- News From Mylan
Mylan is offering
FREE Epis for schools!
Go to http://www.epipen4schools.com/
Print out the form, have your school fill out the form, take the form to your allergist (you may want to call to find out if your allergist will write a prescription first), fax the form and prescription to the address on the form. Just follow the directions on the form.
Did you know that in many cases, you may be able to save money by getting your Epi Pens though the mail? Please contact your insurance company to find out if this applies to you.
Also, did you know that schools might be able to get
a 50% discount, possibly larger, with bulk pricing?
If you are having trouble paying for your Epis, you may also contact your pharmacist to find out if there is a community grant available. Many times civic organizations, or religious organizations donate funding for those who are in need of financial aid.
